The best time to visit Africa depends on the country you are visiting and the activities you are interested in. Generally speaking, the dry season (June to October) is the best time to visit for wildlife safaris and other outdoor activities. The wet season (November to May) can be a good time to visit if you are interested in seeing lush landscapes and waterfalls.

Smooth Move Africa is organizing a trip to Tanzania in July 2025. If you are interested in visiting Tanzania, please join us.
If your passport expires 06 months after the date of our trip, then you will need to renew your passport prior to departure to ensure timely processing.
Yes, the places the destinations that we are going to are very safe and I have personally visited these places several times.
Tanzania does not require any shots. Please check the CDC Website for any recommended shots.
Our tour is a “Grown folks” tour, so we allow our travelers to chose exactly what they want to do. If you want to lay on the beach all day long – that’s what you do. We created the trip with our travelers in mind knowing that everyone is an individual and may want to see and do different things. Your first trip to Tanzania should be on your own terms so we built our tours with that in mind.
Before our trip you will be introduced to other travelers via our monthly scheduled zoom meetings. This will enable you to meet other like-minded people so that you can establish a comfort level before the trip. We also will schedule a meet and greet before the trip for all those that can attend.
The trip will allow you to meet other people who share your passion for travel. We know that you will meet great people and have a wonderful time!
Yes, you will need to book your own international flight to and from the U.S. to Dar Es Salaam Tanzania.
SMOOTH MOVE AFRICA, DOES NOT GIVE REFUNDS, that’s why it is required that all travelers purchase travel insurance. Travel insurance protects you should any unexpected event occurs before or during your trip. We suggest that you obtain a comprehensive policy which include: CANCEL FOR ANY REASON CLAUSE, (which must request when you are on the phone with the representative) loss luggage, medical, flight delays and any additional coverage you may deem necessary. We recommend www.withfaye.com which you can find on our website. We urge you to purchase travel insurance within ten (10) days from the date that you make your deposit.
Disclaimer: You are under no legal obligation to purchase travel protection with this insurance company, but we like it because they are a leader in their field. Feel free to shop the market to compare prices and offerings and then decide. (there is an affordable plan for everyone).
Will I have a roommate?
